Mark Brennan, President and CEO

Mr. Brennan has 30 years of financing and operating experience in North America and Europe. He most recently served as President and CEO at Largo Resources Ltd. (“Largo”). Mr. Brennan joined Largo in 2005 and facilitated the acquisition of its flagship Maracas Vanadium Project in 2006. He led Largo’s team in advancing the Maracas Vanadium Project through the completion of its maiden resource and definitive feasibility in 2008, and played an integral role in the successful completion of approximately $300 million in financing for the project in 2012. During his tenure as President and CEO of Largo, the Maracas Project was constructed and commenced production in 2014. Prior to Largo, Mr. Brennan served in various senior management roles for resource companies, including as a Founding Member of Desert Sun Mining; Founder and Principal of Linear Capital, Brasoil Corporation, James Bay Resources, Morumbi Oil and Gas; and former President, CEO and Chairman of Admiral Bay Resources.  Mr. Brennan spent his early career as an investment banker in London, where he focused largely on Canadian equities and covered both London and continental Europe.

Ed Guimaraes, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Guimaraes held progressive senior management positions with Aur Resources Inc. (Aur) between 1995 and 2007, ultimately serving as Executive Vice-President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer. In this position, Mr. Guimaraes was a member of the senior management team that executed the acquisition and integration of Aur by Teck Resources Ltd. in a takeover valued at $4.1 billion. Prior to working at Aur, Mr. Guimaraes worked in the Toronto mining group of PricewaterhouseCoopers. Since 2007, Mr. Guimaraes has worked as a consultant in the resource industry and is currently a director of several publicly listed mining companies. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Administrative and Commercial Studies from the University of Western Ontario.

Carlos Villanueva, General Manager, Sociedad Minera Corona

Since 1984, Mr. Villanueva has served as General Manager of Sociedad Minera Corona S.A., owner of the Yauricocha mine. From 1974 to 1984 he served as superintendent of Compania Minera Santa Rita, previous to that he was mine superintendent of Minas Canarias from 1970 to 1973, and he began his career in 1969 as mine manager at Cobre in Peru. Mr. Villanueva received a geological mine engineering degree from the Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria de Peru in 1968.

Sergio Ramírez, General Manager, Dia Bras Mexicana

Mr. Ramirez, Metallurgist and Mining Engineer, graduated from the School of Mines at the University of Guanajuato, Mexico in 1968 and worked with Grupo Mexico from 1968-2002 achieving the position of Director of Mining Operations and Exploration (1989-2002). From 2002-2006 he was the Director of State Programs within the Ministry of Economy, for the Federal Government of Mexico. Most recently, Mr. Ramirez was Director of Mining Operations for First Majestic Silver Corp. (2007-2012).

Herbert Fiedler, Chief Commercial Officer

Mr. Fiedler has served as Commercial Manager of the Gubbins Group’s mines Sociedad Minera Corona, Compañía Minera Santa Rita, Sociedad Minera Carolina, Minera Yauli and Yauricocha mine from 1991 to 2011. From 1985 to 1989 he was partner and Commercial Manager of R.G.T. Minerales, one of the first Peruvian traders and commercial representative of Milpo in Peru. He has also held, since 1978, strategic positions in mining and trading companies such as Hochschild Mining, Gerald Metals Inc., Samin Corp. and Sudamin. Mr. Fiedler studied Business Administration in the Universidad de Lima (1978). He also has postgraduate education in Commerce, Negotiation, Finance and Stock Market.

Matthew Wunder, P.Geo, Vice President Exploration

Mr. Wunder is a Professional Geologist with over 25 years’ international experience in mineral exploration with a tremendous track record. Prior to forming a successful independent mining consultancy, Mr. Wunder held the position of Vice President Exploration with Rubicon Minerals from June 2007 until Dec 2013 where he was recognized and honored as Co-recipient of the Colin Spence award for Excellence in Global Mineral Exploration (AME-BC, 2010). Prior to Rubicon Minerals, Mr. Wunder gained extensive experience in ore deposit exploration with various companies including Noranda (over 14 years) and Aur Resources.

Mike McAllister, Director Corporate Development

Mr. McAllister is a mining specialized investor relations professional who joined the sector in June, 2010.  He has worked for companies such as Avion Gold Corp., which was sold to Endeavour Mining, as well as with Savary Gold, Alder Resources and Black Iron in their Investor Relations and Corporate Development programs. Previously Mr. McAllister worked at BMO Capital Markets in the Investment Banking, Metals & Mining Group.
